Privacy

Last updated: 12 September 2026

Vrindavan Hindi Course respects the privacy of prospective and enrolled students. This notice explains what information may be received, why it is used and the choices available to you.

Information we receive

When you enquire or arrange a lesson, we may receive your name, WhatsApp or other contact details, time zone, current Hindi experience, learning goals and availability. Enrolled students may also have assignments, lesson notes, feedback, progress records and payment information associated with their study.

How information is used

Information is used to answer enquiries, assess an appropriate starting point, schedule and deliver lessons, provide course resources, correct homework, monitor progress, process payments and maintain necessary teaching and financial records. It is not sold or used for unrelated commercial purposes.

Services used to deliver the course

WhatsApp may be used for enquiries, scheduling and essential communication. Google Meet is used for online lessons. Assignments, notes, audio and feedback may be shared through WhatsApp or Google Meet. Wise, UPI, banks or other agreed transfer services may process payments. These providers handle information under their own privacy terms.

Recordings, photographs and testimonials

Students may record their own lessons only for personal study, subject to the Terms and Conditions. A student’s name, image, voice, testimonial, work or class recording will not be published by Vrindavan Hindi Course without permission.

Storage and protection

Student records and learning files are kept in access-controlled accounts and shared only where needed to operate the course. No online system is completely risk-free, but reasonable steps are taken to prevent unauthorised access, alteration or disclosure.

Retention

Enquiry information is retained only as long as reasonably needed to respond and follow up. Student learning records are normally retained while the student is enrolled and for up to twelve months afterwards, unless the student requests continued access or a longer period is required for financial, legal or safeguarding purposes.

Your choices

You may ask what personal information is held about you, request a correction, withdraw an optional permission or ask for information to be deleted where there is no continuing legal or operational reason to retain it.
